Personal color analysis is a guided comparison, not a medical test or a permanent rule. Your preferences still come first.

The analyst usually checks how color reflects near your face. Heavy base makeup, colored contacts, and strong lighting can make comparison harder.
2. Compare drapes
Fabric colors are placed under the face to compare warm and cool directions, brightness, depth, and contrast. Some studios use more than four seasonal groups.
3. Leave with a palette
Most sessions explain clothing, lip, blush, hair, or accessory directions. Ask what format the result is delivered in and whether English explanation is included.
